Document Capture Process

The document Imaging part of our service receives an inbound document and captures an image of the original as a record and for comparison with the extracted data.

Process

Receipt of the inbound document in multiple forms
- Faxes via our Corporate Fax service
- Email unstructured content and attachments
- Scanned paper documents
- Website form data
- Other messages, like FTP, Data-Streams, more
Image Capture process depends on the inbound form
- If faxed, the document arrives in TIFF format already.
- If an email or paper sheet, a TIFF image is captured through EasyLink Fax Services.
- Web forms are already digitized but are converted to TIFF.
- Image of original document is sent forward in TIFF format
- Result’s the same as scanning the document and saving as a TIF
