Trying to figure out the complexities of EDI on your own can be troublesome. Learning and understanding terms such as Interchanges, REF Segments, and VAN’s in a short amount of time just doesn’t make sense. With EasyLink's EDI Service Bureau, our knowledgeable staff removes the barriers to EDI and allows you to begin exchanging business documents with retailers in a matter of days. EasyLink helps you with the entire process, from receipt of the purchase order to printing of hang tags to delivery of the invoice. As long as you have an e-mail address or a fax number, EasyLink can send and receive all of the information you need to conduct business.
- EDI-to-Fax/E-mail – EasyLink receives your customer’s electronic formatted information, converts it into a fax-readable file, and routes that information to your fax machine or e-mail account. Electronic documents include Purchase Orders (PO), PO changes, Payment Remittance Advices and others.
- Fax/E-mail-to-EDI – When you are ready to send your customer electronic formatted information, EasyLink receives your information via fax or e-mail, keys the data against your open order, and transmits it to your customer in a format that is consistent with their specifications. Electronic documents include invoices, ship notices with bar coded case labels and others.
- Labels, Tickets and Tags - EasyLink generates and prints UCC/EAN-128 case labels to support requirements for ship notices / manifests (ASNs). The printed labels are sent to you so you can apply them to the cartons that will be shipped to your customers. We can also generate and print U.P.C. stickers, price tickets, and hang tags.
- U.P.C. Catalog – EasyLink updates on-line U.P.C. catalogs for you. Once we receive your electronic or hard-copy product information, we use that information to generate the necessary EDI transaction and send it to your catalog service provider. Through this process, your product information is added, updated or deleted from the U.P.C. catalog.
