Trunk - The actual line on a PBX that handled a particular call.


U

Update - Process of changing existing database information.
USER - Name assigned to a particular EID as part of sign-on. Consists of 1-8 alpha and / or numeric characters.
Unifi Dialer - A plastic case dialer designed by Fax International for use on their network. We purchased their customers in bankruptcy court and their dialers now route calls to EasyLink network.
Unifi Machine Number - Each Unifi dialer should have a unique machine numbers. This is mapped to an ANI in the switch.
Unifi Password - The Unifi dialer passes a password to the switch during each call. For the call to complete, it must match the password that the particular machine number was provisioned for.
Unifi Schedule - The outbound schedule is 7 tries in 4 hours.
