Thomas J. Stallings
Chief Executive Officer

Tom Stallings serves as EasyLink’s Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors. He joined the company in December 2003 as Chief Operating Officer and assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer in April 2004. With more than 35 years of sales, marketing, finance, and operations experience, Tom brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to EasyLink. He has successfully led several private companies through strong growth and into profitability as well as through successful acquisitions by larger organizations.

Before joining the company, Tom spent seven years in the management of venture capital backed or privately held technology companies. He was the President and Chief Operating Officer of CoreHarbor, where his efforts led to the effective merger between CoreHarbor and USinternetworking Inc. Prior to that, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cambar Software Inc. (CSI) and was successful in completing a sale of the company to a private investment group. Before joining CSI, Tom served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Analytika, Inc., where he effectively grew this early stage software development firm and completed the acquisition of the company by Dendrite International. Prior to 1996, he held progressively more responsible management and executive positions at Oracle and IBM.

 

Glen Shipley
Chief Financial Officer and Secretary

Glen Shipley serves as EasyLink’s Chief Financial Officer and Secretary. In this role, he has responsibility for financial operations, legal matters, contract administration, and human resources. During his more than 30 years with financial and legal responsibilities, he has developed comprehensive expertise in public accounting practices, corporate ethics, SEC regulations, and mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining the company, Glen served as Chief Financial Officer of Melita International Inc., which was acquired by Concerto Software, Inc. He also brings experience from eshare communications, Inc., a leading provider of integrated customer interaction and intelligent call management solutions, which was later acquired by divine, Inc., where he served as Chief Financial Officer and Administrative Officer, and Vanishing Point, Inc., a venture-backed start-up company that utilized advanced technology to deliver aesthetic medical treatments in retail settings, where he served as Chief Financial Officer and Secretary. Glen has also consulted for various software and genomics companies on operational and financial issues and practiced law in the state of Washington.

 

Teresa A. Deuel
Executive Vice President Worldwide Customer Support

Terri Deuel is EasyLink’s Executive Vice President of Worldwide Customer Support. Ms. Deuel had previously served as Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of Customer Communications, Service, and Support.

Prior to joining the company in June 2004, Terri spent four years as the Vice President of Strategy and Marketing for the Integrated Supply Chain Group, a privately held company focused on supply chain software and services. Prior to that, she held roles of increasing responsibility in engineering, sales, and marketing at IBM, ending her 16-year career as an Americas’ brand manager, responsible for sales, marketing, and operations in the personal computer division.

 

Kevin R. Maloney
Executive Vice President Worldwide Sales and Marketing

Kevin Maloney is EasyLink’s Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing. In this role, he oversees all aspects of marketing and sales globally, including corporate communications, lead generation, management of existing customer relationships, acquisition of new customers and business partners and sales operations.

With over 30 years of experience in technology sales and marketing in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific, Kevin brings to EasyLink the background required to synergize our direct sales force, business partners and marketing efforts across the globe. He joined EasyLink after serving as the Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Network General Corporation where he managed the global sales and services organization responsible for selling software solutions and intelligent appliances that monitor and manage all elements of the IT infrastructure. Prior to his position at Network General, Kevin served as Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Check Point Software Technologies, Inc. where he led the sales and distribution operations in all countries where Check Point conducted business. Kevin began his career at IBM where he held positions of increasing responsibility in sales and sales management.

 

Patrick A. Harper
Senior Vice President Worldwide Operations

Pat Harper serves as EasyLink’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Operations. In this role, he has the responsibility for Global Operations of Information Technology Systems and Services, Information Security and Compliance, Product Management and Client Production Services.

Pat is a seasoned executive who brings over 20 years of operational management experience to EasyLink Services International Corporation.  Mr. Harper comes to EasyLink through the acquisition of the PGi Send business from Premiere Global Services (PGi) where he was most recently the general manager for that business unit.

Prior to joining PGi, Pat was the Vice President of Information Technology operations for ACS Government Services from 2007-2009.  At ACS, he lead the operational implementation of several state healthcare automation systems and managed the operational support of the transportation systems for states in the Northeastern U.S.  Prior to joining ACS, Pat was vice president of IT Operations at Ceridian where he was responsible for the implementation of the company’s first web-based payroll and benefits systems.  At Ceridian, he also managed the acquisition of several business units that expanded Ceridian’s services into the Work-Life EAP market.

 


Joachim Braun
Vice President Development
Joachim Braun is Easylink’s Vice President of Development. In this role, he now oversees the global Research and Development organization, which focuses on product and platform development.

Mr. Braun joined EasyLink through the acquisition of PGiSend and PGiNotify businesses from Premier Global Services (PGi) in October 2010. While at PGi, he served as Vice President of Software Development for Premiere Global Services’ fax, voice, sms and e-mail messaging businesses. Joachim has over 15 years of experience in electronic messaging and over 25 years of experience in Information Technology.

 

Chris A. Parker

Vice President of Operations

Chris Parker serves as Vice President of Operations and is responsible for the company's Information Technology.  In this role, he supports and develops enterprise business applications, productivity solutions, engineering support applications, voice and data networking, and data center operations.  Chris joined the company in October 2005 as Director of Information Technology.  His nearly 20 years of technology experience and outstanding leadership has proven to be the catalyst that has launched EasyLink to a new level of performance worldwide.

Prior to joining EasyLink, Chris served as Director of Information Technology for DataScan Technologies LLC, from September 2002 to June 2005, a privately owned company focused on providing global, financial risk management solutions and services for banks and financial captives.  Prior to DataScan, he spent more than 10 years in leadership positions in the healthcare technology industry, including companies such as CareCentric Inc., AmericanCareGiver.com, Georgia Baptist Healthcare Systems, HBO & Company/McKesson Corp., and Mercy Healthcare.

 

Jack Harwood

Vice President and General Counsel

Jack Harwood serves as Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary for EasyLink Services.  Jack earned his B.A. degree from Creighton University in Nebraska and then studied at the College of Law at the University of Arizona, where he was an editor of the Arizona Law Review.  After receiving his J.D. degree, Jack attended the Graduate Tax Program at the University of Florida, where he received an LL.M. degree in Taxation. 

Jack joined EasyLink in 2011, after being the General Counsel for three years at Cypress Communications, a Voice-over-Internet-Protocol company, which provides voice and data services to small and medium-sized businesses in the top 30 markets in the U.S.  From 1992-2007, he held the position of Senior Mergers and Acquisitions Counsel for BellSouth Corporation where he represented the company in the formation of new joint ventures, making venture capital investments, and participating in mergers and acquisitions activities.  Prior to that, he was the General Counsel of BellSouth International, where he acted as lead in-house counsel.  Jack began his career at Kutak Rock LLP, where he focused his practice on tax planning, commercial law, and mergers and acquisitions.

 

Mark J. Herold

Vice President, Global Human Resources

Mark Herold serves as Vice President, Global Human Resources.  In his role, Mark is responsible for driving shareholder value by maximizing the potential of people.  He comes to EasyLink Services with 20 years of experience, driving change, coaching employees, and cultivating high-performance cultures.

Prior to joining EasyLink, Mark held human resource leadership positions with ING Financial Services and AMVESCAP Retirement, Inc., both in Atlanta, Georgia.  After leaving AMVESCAP Retirement, Mark was the Vice President, Human Resources for Cypres Communications, Inc.  Earlier in his career, Mark supported the human resource needs of manufacturing environments for Frito-Lay, General Mills, and Avery Dennison encompassing union, non-union, and headquarters environments.  In addition, while at Avery Dennison, Mark provided human resource leadership for the creation of financial shared service centers in the United States and Europe.
